Flood Control

Finishing your basement? You should consider installing a Flood Control system.

Let's get you started

How Does It Work?

If the city sewer ever backs up, a home owner can do nothing but hope the water doesn't fill up their basement. The only way to prevent this, is by installing a Flood Control. A Flood Control has a gate which allows water to flow from your house to the city sewer, but the gate closes if any back pressure from the city sewer flows towards your house. Water from the city sewer will never be able to pass through the gate, but you will still be able to use the water in your house as it will flow into a pump pit and be pumped on the other side of the closed gate. The gate will reopen as soon and the city sewer lowers back to its normal level.
